Vanilla Maple Roasted Brussels
Sweet carmelized brussels will be a hit at your thanksgiving feast! the BEST Brussels I’ve ever had in my life…so naturally I had to try and imitate to make these as good as theirs.
INGREDIENTS:
- 24 oz Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed and halved
- 4-6 slices of cooked baked, crumbled
- 1 medium granny smith apple, cubed
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
- 1 stick of unsalted butter, melted
- 2 & 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, add your sprouts & apple. Season with salt and pepper, thyme, and garlic powder.
In a seperate bowl, mix together your butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Pour over your Brussels sprouts and toss to combine.
Lay out on a large baking sheet with the sliced sides down.
Bake in the oven for 35 mins or until golden brown.
Take out and mix in your crumbled bacon. Serve warm & enjoy!
